Lynne Cheney, wife of Vice President Dick Cheney, busy promoting her forthcoming memoir, Blue Skies, No Fences, spoke about her experience as the parent of a gay child during an interview with CBS’ Sunday Morning.
"I think the society has evolved. I've evolved in my way of thinking, but I think the whole society has evolved. You know, my mother had a rule which was people are just people."
She has "evolved" in her way of thinking about her daughter....evolved...um, ok.
Daddy tried to take your civil rights away, and we don't want anyone to talk about you, your lover or your baby, but we are evolving.
