The Awakening Threesome!

SHE’S BACK! Melissa Etheridge’s new album titled The Awakening, will be released on Sept. 25. The press release states "The album is my story and my journey. I hope that it will ring universally. I began to retrace the path of my own American dream: from my early years in California in the '80s, to my dream for fame and fortune and my sad realization of the false images that lead so many of us into misery." Honestly that sounds…Interesting, I think.

But what is interesting is the track titled "Threesome," which the press release describes as "a country-rocker that is unlikely to be covered by Carrie Underwood.” Nice! Maybe it will be the country rock version of “My Neck, My Back”! We need some dirty lesbian rock in the world.

Well it is official Whoopi is taking over the lead seat on The View.

Former View co-host Rosie O’Donnell told The Insider “Whoopi is fantastic in every way and perfect for the job. She’s amazing and one of my favorites.”

"I loved working with Whoopi Goldberg," Hasselbeck told People magazine. "She is soulful, has a world of experience to bring to the table, and I don't sense any sort of political agenda."

On a track titled “Sing” Lennox is collaborating with some of the The Lick List favorite artists, so many female singers it sounds like a Lilith Fair Orgy. Melissa Etheridge, Madonna, Sarah McLachlan, Faith Hill, Pink, Dido, Gladys Knight, K.D. Lang, Bonnie Raitt, Shakira, Fergie, Joss Stone and KT Tunstall. But profits from the single will go to Treatment Action Campaign a human rights and HIV/AIDS non-profit. Sounds like to many diva’s for one track but since it’s for such a good cause and for the super hot Lennox will give her the benefit of the doubt.

It's being reported that The View on ABC will announce the new co hosts for the show this week and that they are Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Sheppard.

Ronson Law Suit

I promise I will have more topic then poor Samantha, but here is the latest. TMZ is reporting Lindsay Lohan gal pal Samantha Ronson is suing Perez Hilton for libel for 20 million! Ronson is upset that it is being claimed she was selling Lohan's secrets to the paparazzi and it was her cocaine found in Lohan's car.

Does Lohan have a secrect crush on Gay LA DJ Samantha Ronson? Reports are in that Lohan has been writing secret love letters to Samantha. Star Magazine reports that one note reads
