Ellen Explains
The Writer’s Guild of America released a statement on Friday, criticizing the talk show queen for crossing the picket line.In response to the WGA, DeGeneres’ publicist released the following statement to PerezHilton.com:
“Ellen has not done anything in violation of the Writer’s Guild of America agreement, or the WGA’s internal ‘Strike Rules.’
Her shows production company made another statement.
"We have asked Ellen to come back to work to fulfill her contractual Obligation, as host of the show, because without original programs the stations can move the show out of its time periods or ultimately hold the company in breach of contract. The company, in turn, expects Ellen not to breach her contract to host the show. We also wish to preserve the 135 jobs of the staff and the crew whose livelihoods depend on the show continuing. We regret the Writer’s Guild has chosen to strike and we wish for a quick resolution."

Ellen Can Laugh At Herself Crying
Today Ellen took time to laugh...at herself. Gotta love that girl!
"I've always cried, since I was a little kid," she said. "I'm a sensitive person. I cry. I cry at commercials, I cry at stories, I cry at anything sweet, I cry at babies. I feel better after a good cry, you know? What you don't want to do is keep in a cry, because then you get bloated. And then you'll want to cry because you're bloated. It's vicious cycle."

Rosie Speaks Out About Ellen
Rosie posts a reply on her blog regarding a question about Ellen and her recent dog controversy. "So what did you think of the 'Ellen' thing???"
"I think she is wonderful," Rosie replies, adding, "and tired, and deserves a vacation."
Rosie has spoken against Ellen before saying that she Gay downs her show and had signed a contract that said she wouldn’t talk too much about being gay.

Ellen Get's Political
For the Fifth Season premiere of The Ellen DeGeneres Show Ellen remembered she was gay. Hillary Clinton was the guest and Ellen asked very political and serious questions. She asked Hillary “It’s important to me to be able to commit to someone that I love and have the same benefits and the same rights. If something should happen to me, [to know that] Portia’s taken care of. People who are gay care about that. You support civil unions, but not gay marriage. Why?”
Thank you Ellen for speaking out and being a positive gay voice in day time TV and for America even though Hillary answer was generic for fear truth will lose her the election. Just asking the question reminded your viewers who you are and the rights you have to fight for.
