Josie Smith-Malave, who was featured on Season 2 of the Bravo channel show Top Chef, was asked to leave a Long Island Sea Cliff Bar after she was witnessed dancing with her partner. 10 youths followed the women out screaming anti-gay epithets, throwing debris, spitting at them and then beating them.
When police arrived, several of the attackers were still present but none were arrested.
