Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange just cast in the film version of Grey Gardens!

Grey Gardens is based on a documentary about two crazy, crazy, crazy (yup, crazy) ladies Edith and her daughter Little Edie who are relitives of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. They lived together for over twenty years in squalor and total isolation and were so CRAZY!

Madonna spent Rosh Hashana with Israeli leader Shimon Peres discussing how to advance the peace process, and conciliation and tolerance throughout the world….huh?

Madonna told the president she wants to promote those messages in her songs and books, and how important it was to educate children with those ideas….a....what....huh?

Madonna you’re a pop star not a political or religious power. We look to you to be edgy and entertaining. Don't get me wrong, we LOVE YOU....but do we really need you to help spread world peace..not so much.

Condolezza Rice's Lesbian Evidence

I'm hoping this will be another republican gay scandal. I hoping she's gay and gets outed in a huge media scandal. Closeted gay politicians who harm the gay community by their actions or inactions deserve to be roughly outed and publicly embarrassed. Anyway I'm getting ahead of myself. First check out the photos, do they look like a lesbian couple or what?


In Glenn Kessler's new book The Confidante: Condoleezza Rice and the Creation of the Bush Legacy, Kessler makes some interesting revelations about Condoleezza and her personal life. Rice owns a home together and a line of credit with long time friend Randy Bean a documentary filmmaker (aka lesbian).

Bean explained the joint ownership and line of credit to Kessler by saying she had medical bills which left her financially drained and Rice helped her by co-purchasing the house along with a third person, Coit Blacker, a Stanford professor who is openly gay. Blacker later sold his line of credit to Rice and Bean.

Other reasons Rice is gay. Rice has never married and a handful of dates with eligible men organized by well-meaning friends have led nowhere romantically. Rice has said that her dream job is commissioner of the National Football League. Sure she's not gay.

And yes I am fighting hard not to make a Rice and Beans joke!

The film He's Just Not That Into You is based on the best selling book of the same name and also featuring Jennifer Connelly, Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson and Ginnifer Goodwin due out in 2009.

Alyssa Milano Joining Our Team!

Alyssa Milano a lifelong baseball fan and Los Angeles Dodgers season ticket holder (who knew), has now been hired as a correspondent on MLB.com.

In a interview with People Magazine Milano says the job is "literally a dream job come true! I'm such a fan and I know our starting rotation so well that within our division I pretty much know what pitches the pitchers are going to throw to what batters."

Milano will interview players and coaches as well as do lifestyle segments. She also launched the Touch clothing line, which features fashions for baseball's female fans and is sold in stadiums and on MLB.com

I've loved Alyssa since her Who's The Boss days it's nice to see that she still has some tomboy ways.

Rosie Talks About Her Self-Destructive Past

Rosie's upcoming memoir, Celebrity Detox due out Oct. 9th reveals some unknown truths about the star.

Rosie is would fracture her own limbs with a baseball bat or a wooden hanger. Choosing what to break she'd go for her hands and fingers usually. The motivation for the self-destructive acts were that O'donnell needed proof that she had some value, enough to be fixed. She also mentioned that there were many benefits to having a cast, in the middle of the night, it was a weapon. It is not mentioned in the book why she would need a weapon in the middle of the night.

She is also surprisingly kind to Elisabeth Hasselbeck, at least kinder then I would be. "Elisabeth, antiabortion, pro Bush, pro war, believes in everything I don't, and I believe in everything she doesn't," O'Donnell writes. "She's as slender as I am fat, as restrained as I am vociferous, as polite as I am frank. ... Right from the start ... I could see something fierce, a fist in the frill, and I liked that."

Good news is that Celebrity Detox is already rated No. 10 on the Amazon.com bestseller list.

Movie producer Nina Jacobson said "It was certainly an acceptable choice to be closeted then (90's). Now, in Hollywood, it would be a little pathetic. You would only look afraid."
